We are finally in the last week of the challenge, and we hope that you have enjoyed this journey! In the last week, you are asked to create a message stick and prepare for the pervasive speech.
Message Stick
- Teams will create a message stick and provide an accompanying 500-word synopsis explaining the encrypted message.
- Message sticks will be mailed to each school to inscribe.
- Teams are required to encode a message on the message stick that identifies each team member (individually) and the teams' collective belonging to their school.
- Students have the freedom to choose the message, coding system and the technique to encrypt the chosen code.
Persuasive Speech
- As a team, consider the three speaking topics and choose one to construct a persuasive speech.
- All team members will be required to assist in the creation of a speech.
- Decide which one team member will deliver the speech.
- The speech should last for 4 minutes - 1 point will be deducted for speeches under 4 minutes or over 5 minutes.
